I have a few goals for march that I hope to meet. Mostly volume goals. Mixed with results goals. First an update on what I have been up to.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;The first couple months of school have gone fairly well. I've attended most of my classes and gotten decent grades. Far better than last semester. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;I formed an LLC about 2 months ago. It's purpose is liability protection in real estate investing. I am yet to use it in a real estate deal. But just having it established has caused me to be a lot more proactive about learning real estate and searching for deals. My main real estate goals are to close a lease option deal by my 19th birthday. I won't go into as much detail about this now as I will when something starts coming together. Basically I think if I want to have this done I need more advertising out by the middle-end of March. As of right now I have business cards and a website. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;Real estate is a big interest of mine. It's really my main career goal. I think I have come a long ways in learning about it over the past year and hope to go a long ways in executing deals in the next. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;On to March's goals. They involve church, poker, health, money, girls, mind. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;Goal #1. Attend church at least 2 times. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;Goal #2. Play 800 HUsngs. Roughly 26 per day.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;Goal #3. Lose &gt; 6 lbs. I want to wake up at &lt;&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;Goal #4. Win $3000. Save $500, Spend $500, Tithe $300.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;Goal #5. Have sex with a girl&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;Goal #6. Continue to develop my sound mind. My mental integrity has, over the past year, caused me to excel a lot where others wouldn't. I find myself getting frustrated sometimes at seeing other people get so frustrated about things. I do such a good job of brushing off huge losses at poker or other big negatives in life and it really causes me to have more success. I also do a good job of stimulating myself mentally through reading, music, and talking. So I want to read a book this month, Listen to new music this month, and talk with people who are already where I want to be. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;Goal #7. Do 1 thing each day related to Real Estate investing.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;Jordan.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(102, 255, 255);font-family:verdana;" &gt;Sngs played this month. 7&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255); font-weight: bold;font-family:verdana;" &gt;Sngs left to be played. 793&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 255, 51);font-family:verdana;" &gt;Money made this month. $154.50&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-weight: bold;font-family:verdana;" &gt;Money left to be made. $2845.50&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;Sharkscope at set point. $2,731.50 Profit, 2175 games played&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-355087129625966226?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/355087129625966226/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=355087129625966226' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/355087129625966226'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/355087129625966226'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2009/03/march-tastic.html' title='March-tastic'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-8304669902372406045</id><published>2009-02-01T11:58:00.001-08:00</published><updated>2009-02-01T11:59:28.431-08:00</updated><title type='text'>A few days</title><content type='html'>in and having bad results so far. That is $1000 USD in 10 days of playing online poker. Or $100/day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I just moved to 33s and feel this is pretty doable. Really to have a solid month I need to make about 1000 in 10 days 3x per month. 100 Buyins at $33 won in a month. Isn't a solid month.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have never set a 1k in 10 days goal and I think accomplishing it is gonna be a key part of me moving to the next level. I am going to try and bullet this out to be a clearly defined, attainable goal.&lt;br /&gt;----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;br /&gt;January 29: $1000 Challenge&lt;br /&gt;Goal: To win $1000 online in a 10 day period of time.&lt;br /&gt;Start date: January 29, 2009&lt;br /&gt;End date: February 8, 2009&lt;br /&gt;Methodology: By playing mainly $33 heads up sngs on Pokerstars Jordan will attempt to win $1000 in 10 days. Additional games that may be played are $22 heads up sngs, $22 Heads up matches MTT that runs daily at 2:15 and 9:20.&lt;br /&gt;Beginning account balance: $405.50&lt;br /&gt;--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This starts officially when I wake up tomorrow.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Jordan&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-7712360838714420879?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/7712360838714420879/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=7712360838714420879' title='1 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/7712360838714420879'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/7712360838714420879'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2009/01/goals-goals-more-goals.html' title='Goals, Goals, More Goals...'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>1</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-3598430187088860431</id><published>2009-01-16T11:52:00.000-08:00</published><updated>2009-01-16T11:57:48.585-08:00</updated><title type='text'>Tough days</title><content type='html'>been a tough week and a tough 09 so far. Kinda depends if my friend Josh is going home from KC. If he doesn't I probably won't. But if he does then I definitely will also.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My results haven't been stupendous. I have been sticking to the right games and playing pretty well. I am really starting to get my confidence back along with that killer instinct I need so much. I am playing a lot more aggressive. I think the key for me is going to be finding the balance between passive and aggressive and figuring out when to mix it up. Except to continue working towards the goals I've already set for myself. One goal is to keep this blog updated this year. As I expect that by the end of the year there will be people wanting to read it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My 2 main goals are to make money and to lose weight. In no specific order because they are both the most important goal. I want to weigh 225 lbs by April. This will be a hell of a goal to meet as I am pressing 260lbs right now. However my current situation should be conducive for making it happen. Ricky and I are going to be working out almost every day the next 5 months. As well as we are both making it a priority to eat healthy. I've came up with a diet that I like. Basically, Eat a really big breakfast(1000 + calories) eat only fruit/vegetables for lunch(besides maybe a small amount of meat in a salad) and eat a normal portioned dinner (not a big dinner, maybe 2 chicken breasts and some vegetables).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My financial goals are pretty basic. All my income is most likely gonna be from poker and I'd like to make a respectable salary this year. Starting off it's a grind being staked by Primo. The good thing about that is I'll be able to play higher stake games and bank all of my winnings without having to worry about bankroll management.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Another goal is to get a 4.0 in school this semester. Doing that will even out my sketchy first semester 1.8 into an at least acceptable gpa so that I won't have trouble transferring when I decide to. I have History, English, Accounting, Intro to Public Speaking. Accounting should be the only class where I have to work for an A but I have the same professor as last semester so that is cool. Also have the same History professor. Got C's in both of there class last semester plan on "turning over a new leaf" this semseter. I'll keep track of any comments they might make about the new me and post them in here.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My friends and I have made the decision to actively try and live better. In all areas from Diet,Exercise,Appearance,Character, Sleep,School. Whatever. Just deciding to be better people. Better dressed, Better smell, Better spoke. So the beginning of this semester is gonna be our first stepping stone as we get out into the world of people at school and have tons of daily interactions. Like one thing we are doing is wearing nice clothes to school like dress shirt/dress pants combo's. We'll take some pics I'm sure.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;More Later.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Jordan&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-68104101140126273?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/68104101140126273/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=68104101140126273' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/68104101140126273'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/68104101140126273'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2009/01/oh-btw-its-new-year.html' title='Oh btw, it&apos;s a new year'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-6734954898273174921</id><published>2008-12-19T12:30:00.000-08:00</published><updated>2008-12-19T12:49:20.758-08:00</updated><title type='text'>Short, Medium, Long</title><content type='html'>So today is my first day of Christmas break. I have been busy the last couple months and am just now getting back into playing poker.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am fully staked by PrimordialAA now and am working through the limits. It's a pretty cool setup. I just have to prove I can beat each level and he moves me up a limit. I am at 11s now and will hopefully be moving to $22s before January. I plan on getting to 55s and grinding those for a while fully staked and banking some money from it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This semester went pretty well I enjoyed it for the most part. Came out with decent grades so that's all good. I will be returning to GRCC next semester. My friend Ricky is transferring to GRCC for the semester and will be living with me for the next 5-6 months which is pretty cool and exciting.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am planning on moving to North Carolina to live with my brother Luke after the school year ends. I'm doing this for a few reasons. #1 I want to. #2 I am not really motivated to go to any University next year. It's been my dream for a long time to take a year off and travel. So I am going to try it. I think living in N.C will give me a better opportunity to do so. As well as I just don't feel like I'm making much progress here and I think me and Luke working as a team will create sick things.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;More later&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-6734954898273174921?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/6734954898273174921/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=6734954898273174921' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/6734954898273174921'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/6734954898273174921'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/12/short-medium-long.html' title='Short, Medium, Long'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-9164155463147378104</id><published>2008-12-19T12:22:00.001-08:00</published><updated>2008-12-19T12:22:58.077-08:00</updated><title type='text'>WBCOOP</title><content type='html'>&lt;div style="height:140px;width:100%;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.pokerstars.com/blog_tournament/"&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.pokerstars.com/images/wbcoop/WBCOOP_banner1.gif" alt="Online Poker" align="left" style="margin-right:10px;" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have registered to play in the &lt;a href="http://www.pokerstars.com/blog_tournament/"&gt;PokerStars World Blogger Championship of Online Poker&lt;/a&gt;!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This &lt;a href="http://www.pokerstars.com/"&gt;PokerStars&lt;/a&gt; tournament is a No Limit Texas Hold’em event exclusive to Bloggers.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Registration code: &lt;script&gt;document.write(paramCode)&lt;/script&gt;413724&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-9164155463147378104?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/9164155463147378104/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=9164155463147378104' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/9164155463147378104'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/9164155463147378104'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/12/wbcoop.html' title='WBCOOP'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-2764625329287269545</id><published>2008-12-19T12:20:00.000-08:00</published><updated>2008-12-19T12:21:39.280-08:00</updated><title type='text'>Updates</title><content type='html'>I am finishing up my first semester at GRCC now. Had goggles this time. Pretty good workout. I got through about 800 yards + warm up/down. In a lot less time then the 500 took me last time. I also mastered the flip turn. By master I mean when I do it I inhale a bunch of water through my nose and it hurts real bad. Then am about to black out by the time I am up for air. But I am pretty sure I look good doing it... So...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Poker has been really stagnant the past few days. Breaking even or losing a couple dollars each day. I am going to move down to 11 4's for just a little bit. I feel it will be easier for me to move down to 11 4's for a short period of time to rebuild myself to a comfortable $22 roll than it will be to continue playing bad at the 22's and be on a short bankroll before I know it. That being said, things aren't all that bad and I still have $700 in my account so. Dropping down to $11's is really just a personal choice that I think will be +ev for a few days. Hopefully.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Jordan&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-5869308404651400022?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/5869308404651400022/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=5869308404651400022' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/5869308404651400022'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/5869308404651400022'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/09/round-2.html' title='Round 2'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-8149696210551629082</id><published>2008-09-22T03:16:00.001-07:00</published><updated>2008-09-22T03:16:17.084-07:00</updated><title type='text'>Swimming TR</title><content type='html'>Wow,&lt;br /&gt; TR on my first ever exercise related swim.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don't think I will ever regain 100% functionality out of my arms. I was barely able to get them up to the keyboard to type.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I lasted about 35 minutes in the pool. Probably got in about 400 yards of swimming before I just gave out and couldn't complete another lap... Then I sat for about 8 minutes before doing one more. "Warm down" lap. Though I was attempting to take it very easy on that lap even that was straining me terrible. I can't imagine what this stuff would look like on film. But it would not be pretty.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My form was terrible throughout and every time I would take a breath I would lose rhythm completely. So my mechanics are quite horrendous. One tip I got before swimming was "Make sure your hand beats your elbow into the water." That might've happen on my first stroke then it was all down hill to an ugly thrashing and desperate kicking in a futile attempt to move myself through the unfriendly medium. I don't think it could be considered freestyle stroke. Or any stroke for that matter.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;However, with all the technique fail that I encountered I got one hell of a workout. Which is the whole reason I went so I guess that is a positive. I still want to learn how to swim better so I don't look like such a donk to all the old ladies and stuff who were lapping me with ease. I heard Tim Ferris recommend something called Total Immersion for swimming. I may try that out.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Other mistakes I made:&lt;br /&gt; Get fkin goggles ldo. My eyes are burning.&lt;br /&gt; Get a speedo type swimsuit. Board shorts are ghey.&lt;br /&gt; Learn how to swim&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;That is the monstrosity that was my first exercise based swim workout.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;-Jordan&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-8149696210551629082?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/8149696210551629082/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=8149696210551629082' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/8149696210551629082'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/8149696210551629082'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/09/swimming-tr.html' title='Swimming TR'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-3216599278363804588</id><published>2008-09-22T00:17:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2008-09-22T00:25:08.817-07:00</updated><title type='text'>Not great game selection lately</title><content type='html'>I haven't had any luck in anything besides HU Sng. Meaning, I've dumped alot of money in rebuy tourneys and other MTTs. Hurting my profit pretty bad. I am at $844 now. So that's. 656 til goal. Pretty much where I was a few days ago. I am probably gonna take the rest of today off. It's like 3am. So my plan is to go start my new swimming hobby in about 2 hours. Then go to class and stuff today and come home. Clean up the crib. Then hit the sack at like 5 or 6. To be up tuesday morning by 4:30-5 am. On days I swim I want to be to the pool by 5. As that is when it opens and I feel getting there first gives me superiority on picking a lane or something like that. To be honest I have no idea how it all works as I've never gone. But it should be pretty humorous the first few times I go as I will probably look like an idiot.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My swimmer friend hooked me up with a basic routine workout that I am gonna do today. Then that'll adjust as I go. My main focus is to have good form and crap. If I decide I like this I will probably go out and get some speedo shorts and goggles and all that jazz. So I need to make 656 dollars this week. EZ game imo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Jordan&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Left to goal: 656&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-3216599278363804588?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/3216599278363804588/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=3216599278363804588' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/3216599278363804588'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/3216599278363804588'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/09/not-great-game-selection-lately.html' title='Not great game selection lately'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-4229323124652331488</id><published>2008-09-18T19:30:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2008-09-18T19:35:37.621-07:00</updated><title type='text'>It was a good day...</title><content type='html'>Got to class on time.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Got my refund check from school.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Paid all necessary bills.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Basically just got my finances in order.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then played poker with tremendous results. I set a lofty goal of going from $844 to $1000. I hit $1125 within like 2.5 hours of playing then stopped. At 9:15 I decided to play the $22 hu matches and lost first round. Leaving me at $1103 on the day. Quite insane run good. I also got back in touch with my former coach Mike Wywrot, who I am friends with. He is a fierce HU player and is a regular at 400nl HU and 1000nl HU. I may get back into a coaching set up with him. I am not sure though. That should get some more info next week sometime.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Classes are going well and I had an accounting test today that I think I did very good on. I am going to start swimming in the mornings next monday at 5am. My first goal with swimming is to get comfortable in a routine of getting up and going a few days a week and get comfortable swimming. Then to actually learn some good technique and become a good swimmer. I have watched some basic how to video's and am hoping to not look like a total ass when I start monday morning. But... If I suck then that'll just make it that much easier to get better.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;Left to goal: $397&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-4229323124652331488?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/4229323124652331488/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=4229323124652331488' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/4229323124652331488'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/4229323124652331488'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/09/it-was-good-day.html' title='It was a good day...'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-41144129843418360</id><published>2008-09-17T22:13:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2008-09-17T22:18:56.185-07:00</updated><title type='text'>Update as of</title><content type='html'>School has been taking a lot of focus. I am happy about that and about my performance. I haven't been playing a lot of poker. But when I have played I have had good results. Until today LDO.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I lost about $200 in the $10 rebuy. Which is sick. I just ran unnaturaly bad in the rebuy hour. Then got sucked out on with AQ vs. K9s in Blind vs. Blind play. So I can officially say I am done with rebuy tourneys for about another $1000. My new goal is to grind $22 4 mans til I get to $1500... Then cash out $500. Then regularly cash out anything over $1000 for the rest of the month. Pretty simple. I am $656 away from $1500 though. I tilted cashed out like $60 something today after my donking in the $10 rebuy. Left $800 on. Now have $844. Pretty much 40 buyins to 20hu. 36 to 22hu to be exact. But still deep enough. $550 will be my stop loss to move back down to $11 HU. I hope that won't happen. But if it does I will deal with it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I just really need to focus all my energy on grinding $22 4 mans. I can make so much money at them if I will just settle down and do it. So....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;Left to goal: $656&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-41144129843418360?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/41144129843418360/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=41144129843418360' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/41144129843418360'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/41144129843418360'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/09/update-as-of.html' title='Update as of'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-8010779397942179037</id><published>2008-09-11T13:00:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2008-09-11T13:05:50.602-07:00</updated><title type='text'>Life Update</title><content type='html'>Well,&lt;br /&gt; Things have been pretty crazy. I haven't had internet since I got back from Colorado. Just got turned on today. I worked in a factory for 1 week then quit yesterday because it was too much.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; I plan on playing poker full time for money right now. Focusing most of my effort on doing well in school. That's the plan...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Detailed poker goal. Make $1100 before Luke gets here on October 3. My 2k goal this month isn't gonna work out most likely. Because I haven't been able to play the last week. Likely next month will be my goal of $2000. So we'll see how that goes. $900 is the starting bankroll for the goal. So $2000 will be the ending result. I will keep loose tracking of it in the blog. Just bankroll updates and such.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Jordan&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-8010779397942179037?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/8010779397942179037/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=8010779397942179037' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/8010779397942179037'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/8010779397942179037'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/09/life-update.html' title='Life Update'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-1567642016491009067</id><published>2008-09-01T18:40:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2008-09-01T18:44:02.267-07:00</updated><title type='text'>Up and down day</title><content type='html'>Lots of swings. So he's probably gonna be staying with me most of the time at my apartment. Both of us our spending a lot of time grinding right now and we decided to set a goal against each other. Total Net Profit for the month. Winner gets, My master bedroom for the month, a trophy, dinner at winners choice of restaurant.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We are both at about the same levels but he plays cash and I SNGs. So I am excited to see where everything progresses to. I played a bit more tonight and had some more success. I feel I am playing as good as I ever have and am very keen on reading hands lately.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Got some stuff to do today and then start school tomorrow. Sickness. My bro offered to help me out financially for all my help at his house in Colorado so he is gonna send me $350 to buy groceries, pay some bills etc.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; So I am gonna be doing ok with money in real life. Which opens up goodness for poker.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; I feel now is the time for me to take my poker playing to the next level. With good solid bankroll management. So my September goal is going to be altered as it is September first I feel it is the best day to do so. New Goal is $2000 Profit. Starting from the $500 bankroll I started with so i am in the profit some already this month. and will just look to build on that.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; I am starting school Tuesday so that'll be something I have to focus a lot of time on. If I can pay my bills from poker and do that. That'd be cool. If I make the $2000 goal. I will cash out $1000 to put in the bank. Then set some new goals with my $1500... I think this is attainable it's just gonna require moving up in limits pretty quickly. I have plenty to play $22 4's with. I might still grind $11 4's for now though. Just to be safe i am not sure. I will probably play $22 4s.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Totals&lt;br /&gt;--------------&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(51, 255, 51);"&gt;Daily Profit: A Lot&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 153, 0);"&gt;Total Profit towards goal: $373.25&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;Left to Goal: $1626.75&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-8567527969295705000?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/8567527969295705000/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=8567527969295705000' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/8567527969295705000'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/8567527969295705000'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/09/updating-roll.html' title='Updating the roll'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-7840200689979988002</id><published>2008-08-31T18:15:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2008-08-31T18:18:32.447-07:00</updated><title type='text'>Updated</title><content type='html'>Ran pretty bad over the weekend anytime I sat down.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Totals&lt;br /&gt;---------------&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pokerstars Roll: $511&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Left to goal: $1053&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-7840200689979988002?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/7840200689979988002/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=7840200689979988002' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/7840200689979988002'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/7840200689979988002'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/08/updated.html' title='Updated'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-1513909167367607416</id><published>2008-08-30T03:14:00.001-07:00</published><updated>2008-08-30T03:20:56.024-07:00</updated><title type='text'>NST</title><content type='html'>I ended up playing a bit tonight. Got stuff finished up at the house faster than I anticipated. I ended up doing ok. I played $11 4s to start did some $10 4s... Played about 5 $22 4s. Then late tonight I donked around in some 9 man sngs and broke even in them. All told solid day but was hard fought to win anything. Happy with my results. Just a mentally stressful day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My full tilt poker goal is off. Ran super bad at anything I played there. So I will hopefully just win a couple extra hundred on Stars to make up for it. I do plan to play at full tilt in the future.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have a few things to finish at Luke's house early tomorrow then I fly out of Colorado Springs at 3:15. Off to Dallas Ft. Worth for an hour then heading back to Grand Rapids. With the time change I will get back to Grand Rapids at 11pm.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am excited to be going back to my own place. I have really enjoyed my time out here in Colorado but I miss home. I do expect I will return to Colorado Springs some day. But hopefully under different terms than this visit.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Totals&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 153, 0);"&gt;Daily Profit: $53&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;Left to Goal: $970&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-1513909167367607416?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/1513909167367607416/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=1513909167367607416' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/1513909167367607416'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/1513909167367607416'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/08/nst.html' title='NST'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-1730693435298829835</id><published>2008-08-29T00:21:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2008-08-29T00:28:17.131-07:00</updated><title type='text'>Thursday</title><content type='html'>Well,&lt;br /&gt; Was a long day. Especially poker wise.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I started playing on FT and just ran horrible in everything I did for a few hours. Quit way down... Then I started on stars and did ok to start out then ran super bad for a stretch at $22 4 mans and then came out just about even on the day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My FT roll is super low I am gonna play $10 4 mans with it though. If something happens cool if it doesn't tough luck. I decided I was gonna finish the session I was in and then quit. Which is what I did and am glad that I managed to do that. I didn't play any higher stakes than I intended to also which is good. Losing day but it's not too bad. I am not gonna play tomorrow, Doubt I'll play Saturday, and most likely won't sunday. So should have a couple days break. And hopefully will come back refreshed and ready to tackle $1000 this month.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I should of been up $86 on stars today but in my last game. I had a big allin pot vs. the guy which I won. leaving him with 80 chips... and he fucking miracle come backs winning like 12 straight allins and then 20 minutes later wins the game. 44 &lt; 67o... sigh...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Jordan&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Totals&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 153, 0);"&gt;Daily Profit Stars: $5.50&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;Daily Profit FT: $135.70&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(153, 153, 153);"&gt;Full Tilt Roll: $52.75&lt;br /&gt;Pokerstars Roll: $606.25&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;Left to Stars Goal:$1023&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;Left to FT goal: $447.25&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-1730693435298829835?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/1730693435298829835/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=1730693435298829835' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/1730693435298829835'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/1730693435298829835'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/08/thursday.html' title='Thursday'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-3245231579193063690</id><published>2008-08-28T03:16:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2008-08-28T03:19:45.380-07:00</updated><title type='text'>Late night heroes game</title><content type='html'>So I am watching Heroes Season 1 at David's. I am trying to finish the Season before I go back to Michigan. It's like 4am and I've been grinding my way through yet another disc. I decide to check out pokerstars. There is a $22 4 man game filling with some super prime suspects. I register and win. Played just super good to be honest. I don't think I was taking a shot either I have enough money to play those games I am just choosing to play $11 4 mans... Bankroll nit amirite? So just thought I'd tally it onto my winnings before I get back to the next episode.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;UPDATE:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 153, 0);"&gt;Profit Stars: $65&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 153, 0);"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(153, 153, 153);"&gt;Full Tilt Roll: $188.45&lt;br /&gt;Pokerstars Roll: $600.75&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;Left to Stars Goal:$963.50&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;Left to FT goal: $311.55&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-3245231579193063690?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/3245231579193063690/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=3245231579193063690' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/3245231579193063690'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/3245231579193063690'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/08/late-night-heroes-game.html' title='Late night heroes game'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-6955628945944111121</id><published>2008-08-27T23:45:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2008-08-27T23:51:53.391-07:00</updated><title type='text'>Hump Day, Dump Day</title><content type='html'>There was a lot of trash at Luke's that had to be cleaned out... I have a lot of work to get done out here before I leave Colorado Springs. So I am gonna focus on getting all that done. I will probably play some tomorrow.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My goal remains the same. $1000 net profit on Pokerstars by the end of September. I am not altering it because I started off losing. Just gonna have to turn things around.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;An addendum to my goals is to get my Full Tilt account to $500 by the end of September. I have gotten lucky to create a small bankroll there of $150. So I am setting a real small should be attainable goal to reach $500 on that account. I am not counting this towards my $1k goal.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No new results.&lt;br /&gt;---------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;Full Tilt Roll: $150&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;Pokerstars Roll: $403.25&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(102, 102, 102);"&gt;Left to Stars Goal: $1,161&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;Left to Full Tilt Goal: $350&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-2730930492752395173?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/2730930492752395173/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=2730930492752395173' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/2730930492752395173'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/2730930492752395173'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/08/update.html' title='Update'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-917536376912649332</id><published>2008-08-25T14:16:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2008-08-25T14:21:22.653-07:00</updated><title type='text'>Playing tired</title><content type='html'>An unfathomable loss to kick things off. I was playing tired and suffered the consequences. A bad streak at 11 4 mans and some losses at 50nl hu and 25nl 6 max. All told really disappointing. I took advantage of the 24 hour self-exclusion. So I will be back playing again tomorrow night.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Totals&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0); font-weight: bold;"&gt;Daily Profit: $234.50&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0); font-weight: bold;"&gt;Total Profit: $161&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 204, 204);"&gt;Left to goal: $1,161&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-917536376912649332?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/917536376912649332/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=917536376912649332' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/917536376912649332'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/917536376912649332'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/08/playing-tired.html' title='Playing tired'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-7002411151757299364</id><published>2008-08-25T02:58:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2008-08-25T03:07:27.881-07:00</updated><title type='text'>Day 1</title><content type='html'>Well it's 3:58am now on Goal Day 1. Off to a good start on the poker side. Grinding $11 4 mans for a bit. Easy games in the middle of the night. Me and all the other degenerates out you know. Anyways, No big updates just got things started. Probably done for the day. I am gonna watch tv for a few hours then go run. Then come back shower up and head to the other house to get a good day of work in. Then be in bed by like 9 tonight for an early day tomorrow.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;---------------------------&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 153, 0);"&gt;Daily Profit: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 153, 0);"&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 153, 0);"&gt;$73.50&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(51, 102, 255);"&gt;Total Profit: $73.50&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;Left to Goal: &lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"&gt;$926.50&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-7002411151757299364?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/7002411151757299364/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=7002411151757299364' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/7002411151757299364'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/7002411151757299364'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/08/day-1.html' title='Day 1'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-3856513980402910232</id><published>2008-08-24T23:00:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2008-08-24T23:30:42.014-07:00</updated><title type='text'>Let's set some goals</title><content type='html'>I haven't blogged much lately. I have been too ghey. I have all these big goals in life and I really need to start focusing on them if I ever hope to accomplish them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We'll start with poker...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Goal: Make $1,000 by September 30. This is a clearly defined, attainable goal. I am starting with a bankroll of $564.25. So in order to reach my goal I will have to get to $1564.25. I will not cash out any until I reach that goal... Then I will cash out $500 once the goal is met. I will be playing $11 4 man turbo Heads up games. Along with the $22 HU mtt a few times a week.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Live play will not be taken into account during this goal. I don't anticipate playing much live but when I do it will be separate. This goal is about a lot more than winning while playing poker. It is about self control, long term decision making, and time managment.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I start my classes for my freshman year of college on the 2nd. I also hope to start a full time 2nd shift job when I get back to Michigan from Colorado. Full time job + Full time student = 9am-11pm (M-F). That leaves 10 hours a day for non work related stuff like sleep. My goal is to sleep 8 hours a day to maximize my productivity during my awake hours. This being said. It may not leave much time for poker. However if I fail at this goal because I am too busy doing well in school and making money at work I will be happy still.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My priorities in these 3 categories are School, Work, Poker. Now with that it sounds like I am not real interested in poker. I am. However, I feel it is important to make my classes my #1 focus. So that I can end this year with a 4.0 GPA from community college. Thus making it easy to transfer next year. It'll be a tough grind between school and a full time job. But I think I am capable of doing it. Just gonna have to really practice time management and get really good about sleeping regular.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If I make $200 this month from poker and $1500 from a full time job I will consider that a successful month. Savings is gonna be a big focus. I am not willing to rely on poker at this time though. So saving money for later investments is gonna be a big focus.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Weight loss goals.. I have posted these so often before and never really followed through on them. But I think they have all been to vague. So GOAL:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Goal: Lose 15 pounds in concordance with poker goal time frame.&lt;br /&gt;Starting weight: (weighed at night when I am heaviest fully clothed in Jeans and T-shirt)&lt;br /&gt; = 252lbs...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Really I think the most likely way for me to accomplish either of my goals is to get a quick jump on them this week while I am in Colorado Springs. If I could grind out 20-30 buyins at the $11 level over the next 8 days then I would be well on my way towards accomplishing the goal. Same with the weight loss. I am gonna try and run every morning while I am out here. The High altitude of CS makes it a pain to do anything. There is half as much oxygen in the air here then in Michigan. So that's gay. lol. But it causes your body to be in better shape if you are here long term.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Other Goals that are more long term:&lt;br /&gt; 4.0 at GRCC this semester. I am gonna try things I've never done before like read the section ahead of class. Go to every class. Turn all my homework in on time. Also, 9am-3pm every day is school time. So if I have a class from 9-11 and a class from 1-3. The 2 hours between class will be devoted to studying. Also, I'm gonna try to never do any homework the day of. This will take a lot of planning and such. But I know school is straightforward the professors aren't trying to trick me. They will tell me what it is they expect and it's up to me to do that. So these are a few tricks to hopefully help me do better.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also my schedule is: Tues/Thursday 12-2 (Accounting)&lt;br /&gt; MWF 12-2 (Precalculus)&lt;br /&gt; Fri 9-11:30 (History)&lt;br /&gt; MW 9-11 (English).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I expect English and History to be a breeze. I expect accounting to take a lot of work and I expect precalculus to be extrememly difficult. So I will spend the most time on Precalc, the next most on Accounting. Then however much it takes for a 4.0 on English and History.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;That's all for now. I got about 4 hours of grinding low limit sngs. Then I am gonna go run 1/2 mile or something. Then I have to work at my brothers house for most of the day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Notes to self: Call Teasha @ Plastech tuesday at 11am.&lt;br /&gt; Call Dad Monday Morning&lt;br /&gt; Meet @ Lowes w/ David Monday Evening.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cliff notes: Goal is to make $1000 by Sept 30 at 11:59 pm. Also to lose 15 lbs by Sept. 30 @ 11:59 pm. Also watch Heroes season 1 while in Colorado Springs this week.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Jordan&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-3856513980402910232?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/3856513980402910232/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=3856513980402910232' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/3856513980402910232'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/3856513980402910232'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/08/lets-set-some-goals.html' title='Let&apos;s set some goals'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-6655693881878521232</id><published>2008-07-16T18:50:00.001-07:00</published><updated>2008-07-16T21:28:33.033-07:00</updated><title type='text'>uhh</title><content type='html'>This week has gone ok so far. I went to the 9am service. I really enjoyed it. I'm very glad I decided to go. For those that don't know, Mars Hill is a giant church in grandville. The pastor Rob Bell wasn't there this morning he is traveling. The guest speak spoke about the Book of Isaiah. He was an elderly gentlemen and I liked the teaching. Very laid back atmosphere. Friendly people. I will definitely be going back again.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here is a list of things I will accomplish this week. I put this here simply as a reminder to me:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Monday: EX, Mow Lawn AM, Go to training at J &amp;amp; M Distribution, Decide on J &amp;amp; M or Razmus.&lt;br /&gt;Tuesday: EX, Internship @ Razmus(hopefully), Mail back HD to Dell, Work on Letters&lt;br /&gt;Wednesday: EX, Work on Letters, Go to orientation at GRCC,&lt;br /&gt;Thursday: Internship, EX, Rearrange living room,&lt;br /&gt;Friday: Wrap things up, Have Mailed letters by now, EX&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Those are my basic outlines for the week. Hopefully I will add more to it as the week goes on. I also hope to make a chunk of money from poker this week which I will likely be playing everyday.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Jordan&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-3727814314447612291?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/3727814314447612291/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=3727814314447612291' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/3727814314447612291'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/3727814314447612291'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/07/mars-hill-experience.html' title='Mars Hill Experience'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-7840518358123381584</id><published>2008-07-09T03:30:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2008-07-09T04:01:03.565-07:00</updated><title type='text'>Early morning</title><content type='html'>It's 6:30am here. I've been up since 4:30. I only got about 45 minutes of sleep the night before so last night I went to bed at 9. Then I just woke up at 4:30. Which I am insanely happy about. I'll be tired again tonight by 10 or so. So hopefully this will jump start me onto a normal sleep schedule. I want to be getting up everyday by 5 or 6 am. I feel that's what it takes to be successful. Everyday when I wake up after 11am I feel like a loser. So that is holding me back. I think taking a step like getting up early everday will give me better results in life.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have a job interview today at 9:45. I don't know anything about the place just called an ad from the Grand Rapids Press and they scheduled me for an interview. I am kinda suspicious about the place as the ad sounded like one of those too good to be true fraud things. But I figure I will at least go check it out and see if it's anything worthwhile.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Poker has progressed on. Haven't put up any results since the win sunday night which is fine. I truly believe karma is what caused me to win that tournament. I had done one little nice deed earlier in the day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Once I secure a new job I have lots of plans on how to get rid of my money the fastest. I want to get a membership at a boxing gym and a personal trainer so that I can start learning to box. There are a lot of motivations behind me doing this. I also am gonna attempt to read some more books as I have a lot of free time. Basically I will just pick something that interests me and read the book on it. I will probably start with some books by successful business people.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am working out a business plan. This plan will result in my life's work so it will take some time to finish. Basically any plan I formulate requires that I have a steady income to make it happen. So I really just need to find a way to make money now. Which is what I have been doing. I don't have tons of expenses. Pretty cheap rent, cable, groceries, gas. So if I can get a decent job soon I should be able to save some money and make all my dreams come true.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am probably going to have a room mate soon I have been meeting different people who are interested. I am going to look for a church to attend. I will probably go to Mars Hill. I have heard lots of great things about it. I take so much for granted these days and never thank God like I should. I seem to only call on him regularly when things get really bad but I hope that that will change. I don't think I will ever be truly successful until I can have success in my relationship with the Lord.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Recently, one of my high school teachers sent me an email. We discussed different things like life goals and what's really important and he made a comment that really spoke to me. He said,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Worshiping wealth is not the key to unlocking happiness. However, having enough wealth to permit us to travel and live out our dreams is certainly worth pursuing...as long as a balance is maintained. "&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;That statement couldn't ring more true to my life and what it's gonna take for me to be successful. I know that individual success can only truly be measured by one's self. That being said, I have set a very high standard for myself on a level of personal success. However, I think that all too often I think and act in a way that says if I want to be happy, I need to be super wealthy. That's the only way to real happiness. When in all reality that's not close to the truth. There are far more important things in this life than money. Notwithstanding, I feel that a realistic set of goals for maximum success in life should not neccessarily be to have millions and millions of dollars. But it should be to have enough money. How much is enough money? Enough money is the amount of money that you need to live the lifestyle that you want to live. For some people that's $50,000/year. for some that $500,000/year. Others it's more.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I think that this number is relatively simple to find out. Consider what you would do if money wasn't an issue. The life that you would lead. Find out how much it costs to lead that life. There is your number. People seem to think that you need 1 billion dollars in the bank to live a free lifestyle and do whatever you want. But that's not really the case. One big real estate guy I've heard speak said that between $40,000-$45,000/month is the amount you need in order to "check out". Meaning never having to worry about money again. But the lifestyle he described was a considerably lavish one.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's up to each individual to say how much money they need to have enough. I just think that a lot of people are held back by thinking that in order to lead a happy life they need an amount of money that they can't ever attain. When that is far from the case.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One last thing. I think it's important to have clearly defined goals. But in order to achieve those goals it really helps if you are doing it for something bigger than yourself. You see, I have all of these high expectations for life. But I often ask myself. Why? For what reason do I want to be so successful. Mine is pretty straightforward.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;#1. Family: I come from an extremely poor family. All through middle/high school I lived with my mother who was trying to raise 4 kids working for 8/hr. She has never been great with finances. But she's never had lots of money to be great with. I know how much she has sacrificed for my brother, sisters and I. I also know how difficult things are monetarily for her. I feel by attaining a high level of income I could do things for her that she wouldn't be able to do on her own. I don't want my mom to have to work anymore within 5 years from now. I just want to do better than my brothers and sisters really. :). My Dad and Stepmom support me a lot in the things I do. I don't know how much my drive for success is caused by them. But they definitely are helping me on my way.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;#2. Wife: This adds on from family. I am 18 and single. But some day I will marry and have a family lord willing. I want to be successful so that I can provide a good life for my wife and children. I want my wife to be married to someone that she is proud to talk about. I want to go to career day at my kids school and have them be excited to have me there. I know this sounds so odd for an 18 year old to be considering. But that is the level I am thinking on.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;#3. All the people who have done me good: I want to pay them back.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;#4. Myself: Yeah me too.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What I have to stress is that when I talk about success I don't mean just making money. I want to lead a life that is worth mentioning. I plan on traveling in the next couple of years hopefully. I want to see the world. Have experiences to talk about. Not "Oh I went to high school, then college, then got married, I'll die soon too.". That's all for this post. Time for me to be getting on with the day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Jordan Laubaugh&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-7840518358123381584?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/7840518358123381584/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=7840518358123381584' title='1 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/7840518358123381584'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/7840518358123381584'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/07/early-morning.html' title='Early morning'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>1</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-6815601983098178574</id><published>2008-07-07T11:04:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2008-07-07T11:11:44.023-07:00</updated><title type='text'>Monday Afternoon</title><content type='html'>Last night I won the $22 Heads up matches again. First time in like 6 months I've even gone deep. I felt I played really well throughout the tournament and did best at keeping my cool. I told someone after the tournament that the first time I got excited the entire tournament was when it ended and I'd won. I think that is an important skill to have. Staying in the zone and not getting emotional during games. I am being staked so I'm not pocketing too much money from it but I'm getting enough and the win is more important than the money.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Besides that, I am kinda in a spot where I have to find a new job. Things haven't been easy but they never have been so this is just a new kind of trouble. Which is all good and I'm excited to fix it. I like how I am living now. Under a lot of pressure, uncertain of the future and how I am gonna pay bills, etc. But I know that being faced with all these issues will help me learn to deal with them and make me better in the future. I still plan to get rich. I just feel like right now I have to get some small amount of money first before I can get excessively wealthy. Not much I can do with $5 in the bank and a 1/4 tank of gas. Funny Karma story that I may type up later if I read this and remember.&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4025059974536943573-6815601983098178574?l=payperchase.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/feeds/6815601983098178574/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=4025059974536943573&amp;postID=6815601983098178574' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/6815601983098178574'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4025059974536943573/posts/default/6815601983098178574'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://payperchase.blogspot.com/2008/07/monday-afternoon.html' title='Monday Afternoon'/><author><name>Jordan Laubaugh</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/07437357692266270183</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025059974536943573.post-6623397599464633023</id><published>2008-07-02T18:27:00.001-07:00</published><updated>2008-07-02T18:33:29.475-07:00</updated><title type='text'>So much to do, So much to say</title><content type='html'>So first,&lt;br /&gt; Congratulations to Jessica Price for her stunning performance on America's Got Talent Last night. I've never been and heard that it is a pretty sweet place so I will see. Should be ok.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Third,&lt;br /&gt; I've been living on my own for just over a month now. It has been really difficult to be honest. It's so completely different than anything I've ever known. I just try to keep things in perspective. I've got a funny Trip Report that I'll publish later tonight or something. It's a good one. The internship at Razmus Team is going ok. I haven't really been stand out phenomenal. So I will hope to really show a renewed effort next week to make sure I get hired.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fourth,&lt;br /&gt; Man I gotta send out my open house thank you cards.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fifth,&lt;br /&gt; Poker has been going pretty well lately.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;More details to follow. I know a bit about real estate investing and no it is possible to do it with little money up front and do well at it. So fuck it I'm gonna try it. I have no assets really so if I fail it's not too big of a deal. Step one is gonna be finding a full time 3rd shift job. My main focus is at a place called plastech. I am really only looking to do this to keep my daily minimums covered. Rent, Groceries, Gas, blah blah blah. I'm so sick of all the mediocrity I see from everyone. I've came this far. Let's show them all. Don't quit. It's not gonna be easy. It never has been. Acquire the wealth that I deserve. and deserve that wealth. I currently play quite a bit of online poker so I will keep track of how things go there. However, this will be far from an online poker blog. I am a college student living on my own in the city. I chose to move here right after I graduated about a month ago. Why I made this decision will be covered in greater detail at a later date.
